GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. SITUATION. THE ANNUAL HQMC (RA) COMMAND VISIT TO DESIGNATED MARINE CORPS COMMANDS AND RESERVE TRAINING CENTERS WILL BE CONDUCTED FROM OCTOBER 2015 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 2016.
2. MISSION. RESERVE AFFAIRS (RA) WILL EDUCATE COMMANDS AND MARINES ON THE ACTIVE RESERVE PROGRAM, DISCUSS RESERVE MANPOWER ISSUES WITH UNIT LEADERSHIP, AND PROVIDE ASSIGNMENT COUNSELING TO ACTIVE RESERVE MARINES IN ORDER TO SUPPORT CURRENT AND FUTURE RESERVE COMPONENT MANPOWER NEEDS.
3. EXECUTION
    A. CONCEPT OF OPERATIONS. RA PERSONNEL WILL CONDUCT BRIEFINGS, MEET WITH COMMAND LEADERSHIP AND PROVIDE INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING ON THE DATES AT THE LOCATIONS IDENTIFIED BELOW. ALL MARINES WITHIN THE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA, REGARDLESS OF COMPONENT, ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND.

    C. RAM OFFERS A VIRTUAL METHOD OF ASSIGNMENT COUNSELING FOR ALL OTHER MARINES UNABLE TO ATTEND. DIRECTIONS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND AT WWW.MANPOWER.USMC.MIL, UNDER RESERVE MARINE, RESERVE AFFAIRS (RA).
    D. COORDINATING INSTRUCTIONS
        (1) LOCATION AND SCHEDULE OF EVENTS. LOCAL BRIEFING LOCATIONS AND TIMES WILL BE COORDINATED WITH EACH MAJOR COMMAND VIA SEPARATE CORRESPONDENCE. MARINES WHO WISH TO ATTEND SHOULD CONTACT THEIR CHAIN OF COMMAND, CAREER PLANNER, PRIOR SERVICE RECRUITER OR HQMC (RAM) FOR THE SPECIFIC LOCATION AND TIME.
        (2) MONITOR INTERVIEWS. MONITORS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT COUNSELING. SPECIFIC TIME BLOCKS WILL BE COORDINATED THROUGH A POINT OF CONTACT (POC) IDENTIFIED FOR EACH LOCATION. MONITOR COUNSELING OPPORTUNITIES WILL BE DISSEMINATED BY RAM THROUGH LOCAL COMMANDS.
    E. THE MAJOR COMMAND IN A SPECIFIC GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION WILL DESIGNATE A LOCAL POC TO SERVE AS LEAD COORDINATOR AND INFORM HQMC (RAM) POC LISTED ABOVE OF NAME, RANK AND CONTACT INFORMATION OF LOCAL POC NLT FOUR WEEKS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED VISIT.
    F. THE DESIGNATED LOCAL POC MUST ENSURE PROPER FACILITIES ARE RESERVED FOR ALL BRIEFS AND INTERVIEWS AND INFORM THE HQMC (RAM) POC OF BRIEFING LOCATION AND TIME NLT THREE WEEKS PRIOR TO SCHEDULED VISIT. THE LOCAL POC WILL ALSO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR INDIVIDUAL SPACES TO CONDUCT INTERVIEWS AND MAINTAIN THE SCHEDULE FOR EACH MONITOR’S INTERVIEWS.
4. ADMINISTRATION AND LOGISTICS
    A. FUNDING. UNITS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR FUNDING ALL ATTENDEE TRAVEL.
    B. FACILITIES. EACH COMMAND/STATION WILL HAVE UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCOMMODATING THE SIZE OF THEIR UNIT BRIEFS, WHICH WILL INCLUDE INTERESTED MARINES FROM THE GEOGRAPHIC AREA.
5. COMMAND AND SIGNAL.
    A. MAXIMUM PARTICIPATION AND SUPPORT FROM ALL LEVELS OF COMMAND IS ESSENTIAL TO THE SUCCESS OF THE FY-16 RA COMMAND VISIT.
