GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. Purpose. Ref (a), change 2 effective 7 July 2015, implements significant changes to the DOD SAPR program. Ref (b) will be updated to reflect these changes. In the interim, this MARADMIN provides guidance about changes to the SAPR program that require immediate attention.
2. Background. SAPR is a high visibility program not only in the Marine Corps but throughout the DOD. Ref (a) supersedes Ref (b) where there is a conflict. The point of contact (POC) listed above can provide additional clarification, as necessary.
3. A memorandum for the record summarizing the changes that must be immediately implemented throughout the Marine Corps can be located at https://ehqmc.usmc.mil/sites/family/mfb/sitepages/home.aspx under documents(reference: MARADMINS).
4. This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps total force.
5. This MARADMIN will remain active until ref (b) has been updated to reflect these changes.
