Rmks/1.  The Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration has published Marine Corps Reference Publication (MCRP) 4-11.1E, Health Service Support Field Reference Guide; dated 08 Oct 2015.  MCRP 4-11.1E, Health Service Support Field Reference Guide, is available for download via the United States Marine Corps doctrine website at https:(slant)(slant)www.doctrine.usmc.mil.
2.  Background
    (a) MCRP 4-11.1E, Health Service Support Field Reference Guide, is a reference publication that provides critically needed techniques for planning and execution of health services.  This publication was originally developed in June 2005, but never published, and required revision based upon years’ worth of lessons learned and force structure changes within the Marine Corps and the Navy.
    (b) This reference publication will guide Marine air-ground task forces, Marine expeditionary units, and health services staff officers during the planning for health services.  It is consistent to the maximum extent possible with joint and multinational doctrine within the constraints of established higher level doctrine.
3.  Coordinating instructions.  Reference (ref) (a) details steps required to request publication hard copies, however, this publication will be disseminated via electronic distribution only unless commanders submit compelling needs justification for printed copies.  Units requiring print allocations must follow procedures identified in ref (a), paragraph 4a(2).  For MCPDS identification purposes, the publication control number is 144 000155 00.
4.  This maradmin is applicable to Marine Corps total force.
