GENTEXT/REMARKS/ 1.  A redesigned and updated Headquarters Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) website (WWW.USMC-MCCS.org) was launched on 1 September 2015.  This joint effort between the Marine and Family Programs Division (MF) and Business and Support Services Division (MR) was the first major update of the site in 9 years.
2.  The new MCCS Forward website is constructed using responsive design web architecture allowing content to be displayed seamlessly across all devices and uses geolocation functionality to provide a personalized end-user experience, displaying only relevant data based on a user’s proximity to the nearest Marine Corps installation.  The new site employs a content marketing driven approach to brand communications in the form of short, easily consumable articles written with a friendly and informative tone.  Articles will conclude with a call-to-action and a link to corresponding program information related to the subject matter.
3.  We ask for your support to communicate the new MCCS Forward website to your Marines and families.  Moving forward, MF and MR are committed to leveraging technology to improve communications, as well as the valued support we collectively provide to Marines and families.
