On 9 November 2015, the Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration’s Capabilities Development Directorate (CDD) and the Air Land Sea Application (ALSA) Center published the revised MCRP 3-25E, Multi-Service Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (MTTP) for Integrated Air Defense System Change 1, dated xxxx 2015. MCRP 3-25E Change 1 is the addition of classified Appendix J, which discusses low, slow, small (LSS) UAS threats. 2. Background.  This MTTP publication provides guidance for command, control, and communications specific planning, coordination, and interoperability for a multi-service integrated air defense system (IADS). This publication includes considerations for planning, coordination, integrating, and employing air and missile defense systems for the JFC and subordinate commanders participating in, and providing assets to, theater operations. As a single-source reference for Service-specific defense capabilities and limitations, it focuses on C3 architectures and interoperability issues to equip the warfighter with an understanding of each Service’s systems.
3. Coordinating instructions. Ref (A) details steps required to request hard copies of this publication. Units will be receiving automatic initial distribution printed copies of MCRP 3-25E via the Marine Corps Publications Distribution System (MCPDS). Units not receiving copies or desiring additional print allocations must follow procedures identified in Ref (A), coordinating with their internal S-1 or admin sections.  For MCPDS ordering purposes, the publication control number for IADS is 144 000104 01.
