GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  In accordance with reference (a), Captain Michael W. Thatcher is to be congratulated as the selected recipient of the CY 2015 Chambers Award for Outstanding Leadership.  Captain Thatcher is assigned to 3d Bn, 25th Mar, 4th MarDiv.
2.  Captain Thatcher was selected after thorough deliberation by a board of field grade officers from commands across Marine Forces Reserve.  CY 2015 nominees had exemplary records which indicate noteworthy leadership and ability. 
3.  Additional information and coordinating instructions regarding the presentation of the award will be forwarded via separate correspondence. 
4.  Captain Thatcher's outstanding leadership demonstrated throughout 2015 reflects great credit upon the Reserve Component and the United States Marine Corps.
