GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  HQMC Semper Fit (MFS) is seeking applications for the 2016 All-Marine Skeet Team to participate in the Pletcher Open from 6 - 8 May and the Armed Forces Skeet Association Championship from 9 - 13 May 2016.  Both events will be held at the Nashville Gun Club, Nashville, TN.  The Marine Corps intends to field (2), five-person teams to participate in both events.
2.  Interested Marines shall submit a sports application to HQMC NLT 27 March 2016.
3.  Applications can be found at local Semper Fit athletic offices or online at www.usmc-mccs.org/index.cfm/services/fitness/sports/.  Applications shall include National Skeet Shooting Association member number (position/division block of application), place gauges 12, 20, 28, .410, gauges and doubles (section ix, event column), and classification and average (section ix, results column).  Do not list individual event results on the application.
4.  Applications must contain command endorsement stating the applicant will be available to attend all events if selected.  Marines stationed at a command with a local MCCS Semper Fit will submit their application to the Semper Fit athletic director for endorsement.  Marines stationed at a location without a local MCCS may submit their application directly to HQMC (MFS) via their chain of command.  Signed applications may be scanned and sent electronically to mccssportsapps(at)usmc-mccs.org or faxed to 703-784-4125.
5.  Marines selected to the All-Marine Skeet Team will not receive funding for Temporary Additional Duty (TAD) from HQMC.  Commands are authorized to fund TAD travel at their own discretion using their own funding.  In the absence of funded TAD orders commands are also authorized to create unfunded Permissive Temporary Assigned Duty (PTAD) orders at the commander’s discretion.  In the absence of PTAD orders Marines selected are required to receive annual leave approval from the parent command to attend All-Marine Skeet Team events.
