GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  HQMC Semper Fit (MFS) is seeking applications from active duty Marines interested in participating on the 2016 All-Marine Men's and Women's Bowling Teams.  The Armed Forces Bowling Championships will be held 7 - 14 May 2016 at Travis AFB, CA.
2.  Marines interested in applying must submit sports applications to MFS NLT 17 April 2016.
3.  Applications may be obtained at local Semper Fit Athletic Offices or online at www.usmc-mccs.org/index.cfm/services/fitness/sports/
4.  Applications must include past bowling experience and include proof of current averages of at least 215 for men or 150 for women.  Applications must contain command endorsement stating Marine will be made available to attend all events if selected.  Marines stationed at a command with a local Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) Semper Fit will submit their application to the local Semper Fit athletic director for endorsement.  Marines stationed at a location without a local MCCS may submit their application directly to MFS via their chain of command.  Signed applications may be sent electronically to mccssportsapps(at)usmc-mccs.org or faxed to 703-784-4125.
5.  If selected, Marines must have a Government Travel Charge Card, and have the ability to use or establish an account for the Defense Travel System.
6.  Funding for this event is available to active duty Marines only.
