GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  The Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration has published Marine Corps Reference Publication (MCRP) 4-11H, Multi-Service Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for Operational Contract Support; dated 18 February 2016.  MCRP 4-11H, Multi-Service Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for Operational Contract Support is available for download via the United States Marine Corps doctrine Web site at https:(slant)(slant)www.doctrine.usmc.mil.
2.  Background
    a.  ATP 4-10/MCRP 4-11H, Multi-Service Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for Operational Contract Support, is a new reference publication that will standardize tactical level operational contract support techniques across the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps, and will serve as a companion manual to JP 4-10, Operational Contract Support.  This publication provides guidance on tactical level contract support planning and integration, requirements development, and contractor management functions from the requiring activities' (e.g. line unit requesting contract support) perspectives.  It will fill a significant doctrinal void in all services.
    b.  This reference publication will guide MAGTF, MEU, and contracting support services during the planning.  It is consistent to the maximum extent possible with joint and multinational doctrine within the constraints of established higher level doctrine.
3.  Coordinating instructions.  Reference (a) details steps required to request publication hard copies; however, this publication will be disseminated via electronic distribution only unless commanders submit compelling needs justification for printed copies.  Units requiring print allocations must follow procedures identified in ref (a), paragraph 4a(2).  For MCPDS identification purposes, the publication control number is 144 000230 00.
4.  This MARADMIN is applicable to Marine Corps total force.
5.  Release authorized by Lieutenant General Robert S. Walsh, Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration.//
