GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  HQMC Semper Fit (MFS) is seeking applications from active duty Marines interested in participating on the 2016 Armed Forces Women’s Soccer Team at the Conseil International du Sport Militaire (CISM) Women’s Soccer Championship.  The Armed Forces Women’s Soccer Trial Camp will be held 8 - 25 May 2016 at MacDill AFB, FL.  The trial camp will determine the team that will compete at the CISM Championship, which will be held 26 May - 5 June 2016 in Rennes, France.
2.  Interested Marines must submit their completed sports applications to HQMC MFS NLT 8 April 2016.
3.  Applications may be obtained at local Semper Fit athletic offices or online at www.usmc-mccs.org/index.cfm/services/fitness/sports/.
4.  Applications must include past soccer experience and contain command endorsement stating Marine will be made available to attend all events if selected.  Marines stationed at a command with a local Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) Semper Fit will submit their application to the local Semper Fit athletic director for endorsement.  Marines stationed at a location without a local MCCS may submit their application directly to MFS via their chain of command.  Signed applications may be sent electronically to mccssportsapps(at)usmc-mccs.org or faxed to 703-784-4125.
5.  If selected, Marines must have a valid passport, Government Travel Charge Card, and have the ability to use or establish an account for the Defense Travel System.
6.  Funding for this event is available to active duty Marines only.
