GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  The Commandant of the Marine Corps congratulates the following individuals for being selected as the recipients of the 2015 United States Marine Corps Ammunition Awards Program for the categories indicated.  As specified in Reference B, an annual awards board was convened to review nominations from throughout the Marine Corps and select award recipients.  All Marines nominated are deserving of congratulations and rate special recognition. 
2.  The winners are indicated by listing the award, winner and nominating command.
  a.  Ammunition Officer of the Year Award winner is Capt Francisco D. Amaya, 3d MARDIV, III MEF.
  b.  Ammunition Technician Staff Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year Award winner is Gunnery Sergeant Nelson A. Rodriguez, CLR 15, 1st MLG.
  c.  Ammunition Technician Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year Award winner is Sergeant Kyle A. Arnold, CLR 25, 2d MLG.
  d.  Ammunition Technician of the Year Award winner is Corporal Austin S. Allison, 2d Bn, 10th MAR, 2d MARDIV, II MEF.
3.  The sponsor for this year’s award is the Marine Corps Association and Foundation (MCA).  The recipients will be honored during an awards reception at the Hilton Garden Inn Woodbridge, Virginia on 18 May 2015.
4.  This year’s award selection process was challenging due to the highly competitive nominees for each category.  Commands are encouraged to continue to nominate individuals that they feel best represents the ammunition community.  It was apparent that all those nominated are deserving of our respect and rate special recognition.  Congratulations to all nominees.
