GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  The Major General W.P.T. Hill Memorial Awards competition encourages excellence in food service.  The competitive spirit fostered by the Major General W.P.T. Hill Memorial Awards Program contributes to improved food service excellence, and increased quality of life for our Marines and Sailors.  Commands participating in this year’s competition are commended for their hard work and commitment to excellence.
2.  It is a pleasure to announce the Reserve Component winner of the 2016 Major General W.P.T. Hill Memorial Awards Program Best Reserve Field Mess category.  The Commandant extends congratulations to CLR 45, 4TH MLG, MARFORRES as the winning Command.
3.  Active Component winners of the 2016 Major General W.P.T. Hill Memorial Awards Program were announced via MARADMIN 164/16 (R 182009Z MAR 16).
