GENTEXT/REMARKS/HQMC Semper Fit (MFS) is pleased to announce that Capt Bryce L. Saddoris and Capt Christine M. Taranto have been selected as the 2015 Marine Male and Female Athletes of the Year.
2.  Capt Bryce Saddoris is a Greco-Roman wrestler currently stationed at Camp Lejeune who is ranked 1st in the United States and 17th in the world in the 66kg weight class.  He won a silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games and a gold medal at the 2015 U.S. Open Wrestling Championships.
3.  Capt Christine Taranto is a runner and tri-athlete currently stationed at MCB Quantico.  She won the 2015 Armed Forces Marathon Championship and placed 2nd overall in the 2015 Marine Corps Marathon.  She also placed 5th overall in the 2015 Armed Forces Triathlon Championship and 6th in the 2015 Armed Forces Cross Country Championships.
4.  The 2015 Marine Athletes of the Year will be recognized aboard MCB Quantico at the Commandants Combined Award Ceremony on 11 May 2016.
