GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  HQMC Semper Fit (MFS) is seeking applications from active duty Marines interested in participating on the 2016 All-Marine Men’s Basketball Team.  The All-Marine Men’s Basketball Team consisting of twelve men and two coaches will be selected by a trial camp held at Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA 15 – 30 October 2016.  The team selected from the trial camp will compete at the Armed Forces Men’s Basketball Championship 31 October - 8 November 2016 also at Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA.  Marines selected for the Armed Forces team will participate in the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) Championship 27 November - 8 December 2016 in Casteau, Belgium.
2.  Interested Marines must submit an online application to HQMC (MFS) NLT 19 September 2016.
3.  The All-Marine online application system can be accessed from www.usmc-mccs.org/services/fitness/all-marine-sports.  Marines must create an account before accessing the application system.  Applications must contain a command endorsement.  For any technical issues with the All-Marine online application system please contact MFS POC.
4.  If selected, Marines must have a Government Travel Charge Card, and have the ability to use or establish a Defense Travel System account. 
5.  Funding for this event is available to active duty Marines only.
