GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  HQMC Semper Fit (MFS) is seeking applications from active duty Marines interested in participating on the 2016 All-Marine Golf Team.  The All-Marine Golf Team consisting of six men and three women will be selected by trials held at Marine Corps Recruiting Depot Parris Island, SC 11-18 August 2016.  The team selected from the trials will compete at the Armed Forces Golf Championship 19 - 24 August 2016 at Ft Jackson, SC.  The top six men and top two women from across the services at the Armed Forces Golf Championship will be eligible to compete at the Conseil International du Sport Militaire (CISM) Golf Championship 28 August – 4 September 2016 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
2.  Interested Marines must submit an online application to HQMC (MFS) NLT 29 July 2016.
3.  The All-Marine online application system can be accessed from www.usmc-mccs.org/services/fitness/all-marine-sports.  Marines must create an account before accessing the application system.
4.  Applications must include a valid United States Golf Association (USGA) handicap of 3 or less for men and 20 or less for women and all competitive results from at least the past two years.  Applications must also contain a command endorsement.  For any technical issues with the All-Marine online application system please contact MFS POC.
5.  If selected, Marines must have a Government Travel Charge Card and have the ability to use or establish a for Defense Travel System account. 
6.  Funding for this event is available to active duty Marines only.
