GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. This MARADMIN announces the 2016 National Image, Inc. Training Program 12-16 September 2016 at the Isleta Resort and Casino, 1100 Broadway SE, Albuquerque, NM.
2. The National Image Training Program (NTP) mission is to focus on training that provides government employees, including those involved in the management of Hispanic employment and outreach programs, the education and skills necessary to reach their full leadership potential and manage their employment programs effectively. The NTP provides workshops in line with OPM/SES Core Qualifications for career development in the Federal workfoce.
3. The Marine Corps will fund participation for this conference within a limited scope. The Marine Corps will sponsor 19 local and one temporary additional duty (TAD) civilian and service members. The one TAD service member is the award recipient. HQMC will fund the local attendees their conference/registration fees only. Marines not funded by MPE, may register and pay for themselves by accessing the National Image, Inc. website.
4. Commands are not authorized to fund additional conference attendees beyond the twenty HQMC funded civilians service members. Only local attendees are authorized to request HQMC funding for conference/registration fees to this conference in Albuquerque, NM. Filing of TAD or any form of travel claim is not authorized for local attendees approved to attend this conference.
