GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  BACKGROUND.  HQMC Semper Fit (MFS) is seeking applications from active duty Marines interested in participating on the 2017 Armed Forces Men’s Soccer Team at the Conseil International du Sport Militaire (CISM) Men’s Soccer Championship.  The Armed Forces Men’s Soccer Trial Camp will be held 28 December 2016 – 12 January 2017 at Joint Base San Antonio, TX.  The trial camp will determine the team that will compete at the CISM Championship, which will be held 13 - 29 January 2017 in Muscat, Oman.
2.  Interested Marines must submit an online application to HQMC (MFS) NLT 14 October 2016.
3.  The All-Marine online application system can be accessed from www.usmc-mccs.org/services/fitness/all-marine-sports.  Marines must create an account before accessing the application system.  Applications must contain command endorsement and detailed soccer experience.  For any technical issues with the All-Marine online application system please contact MFS POC.
5.  If selected, Marines must have a valid passport, Government Travel Charge Card, and have the ability to use or establish an account for the Defense Travel System.
6.  Funding for this event is available to active duty Marines only.
