GENTEX/REMARKS/1.  Purpose.  Reference (a) establishes the DSAID as the system of record for all reports of sexual assault in the military, to include the results of safety screening tools conducted at least monthly by Sexual Assault Response Coordinators (SARCs) or Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Victim Advocates (VAs).  This MARADMIN provides guidance regarding the immediate implementation of the protocol cited in Reference (b).
2.  Background.  The DSAID limits the input of Safety Notes to six entries, which is not sufficient to document the results of the Safety Screening Tool for the life of an average SAPR case.  Reference (b) describes a workaround to facilitate the documentation of Safety Screening Results in DSAID until DSAID is modified to remove the limit of six Safety Notes per case.
3.  Reference (b) is available on the SAPR Gear Locker SARC Workspace:  https:(slash)(slash)ehqmc.usmc.mil/sites/family/mfb/sitepages/home.aspx under Policy and Orders, Policy and Regulations.  An eHQMC SharePoint account is required to access the SAPR Gear Locker.  To register for an eHQMC account, go to http:(slash)(slash)www.thegearlocker.org.  Select your DOD email certificate, then follow the steps under “create a new account” to submit the account request.  You should receive an email confirmation within 24 hours that your account has been created.  To request SARC Workspace access or for technical questions or support, contact SAPR Functional Systems Program Specialist, Ms. M. Seay, at smb.manpower.sapr(at)usmc.mil or telephone 703-432-9765.
4.  This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force.
5.  This MARADMIN will remain active until Reference (b) is cancelled.
6.  Release authorized by MajGen B. W. Whitman, Director, Marine and Family Programs Division.//
