USO, Honolulu Zoo host 2009 Military Appreciation Day

HONOLULU -- Service members and their families enjoyed complimentary admission to the Honolulu Zoo during USO Hawaii’s annual Military Appreciation Day June 6.

Along with the chance to see more than 1,000 animals, military personnel and family members received free refreshments, participated in educational games and entertainment.

USO Hawaii has hosted the event at the zoo for thousands of service members since 2005 to thank them for their dedication and sacrifice.
