April 21, 2015 -- Marine administrative message 189/15 announces guidance about updates on active duty opportunities available for Marines through the Active Reserve program.
The mission of the AR program is to provide a force of well-trained and experienced Marines to serve in critical roles as full-time support staff to the Marine Corps Reserve. The AR program benefits include career opportunities with active duty pay and entitlements with a potential to attain active duty retirement benefits.
The military occupational specialty fields in demand for this quarter are 0111, 0231, 0321, 04xx, 2111, 3043, 3451, 5711, 60xx, 61xx, 62xx, 63xx, 65xx, and 6672. Affiliation bonuses are available for certain ranks and MOS combinations.
