To establish policy and standard processes for all Marine Corps components by identifying a set of activities, general tasks, and structure to ensure secure information systems (IS) and IT operations within the mainframe environment.  This manual establishes requirements for TASO training, appointments, roles/responsibilities in system access, and termination to ensure access levels are controlled and monitored to mitigate misuse and inappropriate access to mainframe-based systems.
