The USMC AI IPlan outlines actionable and measurable tasks for the Service to adopt, leverage, and integrate AI. It addresses mission alignment, scalable deployment, Responsible AI governance, and strategic partnerships and collaboration—all aimed at empowering the most critical component: the Marines that will harness this technology to accomplish their mission.

By aligning with Force Design, the Department of the Navy Data and AI Weaponization Strategy under development, the DoD Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence Adoption Strategy, and Executive Order 141795 on AI, the USMC AI IPlan provides a structured framework for implementing these strategies.
