This Order is a complete revision of the last Marine Corps Law Enforcement Manual (LEM) and should be reviewed in its entirety. It provides updated policy that commanding officers, provost marshals and police chiefs require, and establishes guidelines and procedures for MPs, police officers and security personnel in the performance of their duties per references (a) through (cl).
