The “Commandant’s Own” Drum & Bugle Corps performs inside a reception room during an Evening Parade at the Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., June 16, 2017. Approximately 21 presidents, chancellors and commissioners from historically black colleges, universities and conferences travelled from around the country to build and sustain meaningful relationships between their organizations and the Marine Corps. While at parade, guests met members of the National Montford Point Marine Association, Lt. Gen.
