Camp Lejeune awarded Environmental Restoration Award by Secretaries of Defense and Navy

For the second year in a row, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune Environmental Management Division was recently awarded the 2022 Secretary of the Navy Environmental Award for “Environmental Restoration, Installation” as well as the 2022 Secretary of Defense award in the same category. To enhance mission capabilities and ensure the highest safety standards for mission readiness, Marine Corps Air Station New River is in the final stages of completing significant upgrades and renovations to its airfield.
