The East Coast Marine Corps Combined Band marched 2.5 miles through the streets of New York in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Nov. 28, 2013. Comprised of 80 instrumentalists from the Marine Corps’ three largest east coast installations; Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., Camp Lejeune, N.C., and Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N. C., the Marines participated for only the second time in the parades 89 year history.
