SAQLAWIYAH, Iraq - A combat engineer with 2nd Platoon, Company A, 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion uses his metal detector to search for hidden weapons here July 21 during Operation Hard Knock. Combat engineers assisted Company A, 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment personnel and Iraqi Security Forces in sweeping through northern Saqlawiyah's Al Zakarit district to look for weapons and insurgent activity, as well as gather census information on the populace.
