A sapper instructor with Engineering Training Area 3, helps a Marine lay a manufactured Bangalore January 10 at the range to gain hands-on experience in creating entrances for Marines through obstacles. What the instructors wanted the Marines to really gain from this training were the basics. Learning the basics here offers the Marines a foundation to build on in Afghanistan, said Sgt. Steven Kenner, a chief instructor with 2nd CEB.
