Lieutenant Gen. John Toolan Jr., the commanding general of I Marine Expeditionary Force, delivers the ceremonial first pitch to San Diego Padres pitch Clayton Richard during the Padres vs. New York Yankees game here, Aug. 4, 2013. Baseball fans gave a standing ovation to Marines of 1st Marine Logistics Group, Marine drill instructors from Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, and sailors of the USS Carl Vinson who lined the baseball diamond just before the start of the game.
