Paddy McGuire, the deputy director for the Federal Voting Assistance Program, conducting Voting Assistance Officer Training at the military post office, Jan. 14. McGuire provided information to voting assistance officers about how to help people in their military units interested in voter registration and participating in the electoral process. “We know that there is a lot of turnover among voting assistance officers, so we want them to be familiar with the forms, rules, and where to find information to help people interested in participating in the process to vote,” said McGuire.
