Sgt. Trumaine Holmes (left) instructs Lance Cpl. Creston Wood (right) on proper use of a compact metal detector at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, March 11. During the training, the Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron 271 learned the basics of counter-improvised explosive device operations. Holmes and Wood are combat engineers with MWSS-271.
