A U.S. Marine clears his M50 joint service general purpose mask during gas chamber training at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, July 26, 2018. Annually, Marines are required to train in the gas chamber to build confidence. Marines need to be prepared in the event of a gas attack so he or she can calmly react and properly don his or her mask.
