Thuridur Erla Helgadottir reaches the end of the biking event where she began her trek up Microwave Mountain during the 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games in the hills of Las Pulgas, July 12. CrossFit athletes competed in a true test of fitness that included swimming 700-meters in the Pacific Ocean, biking 6-miles through grueling terrain, running up more than 1400 vertical feet and ending the day’s events by maneuvering their way though a Marine Corps Obstacle Course.
