The Bataan Memorial Death March is held in honor of the service member who were captured and forced to march 65-miles by Japanese guards to prison camps, after the surrender of the Bataan Peninsula on the main Philippine Island of Luzon. The event is hosted every year in White Sands Missile Range, NM.
