CAMP HURRICANE POINT, Ar Ramadi, Iraq (April 5, 2005) - Major Benjamin B. Busch, team leader, 5th Civil Affairs Group, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, shakes hands with his battalion commander, Lt. Col. Eric M. Smith, after being awarded the Purple Heart during a ceremony in the conference room here. The 36-year-old from Sherburne, N.Y., took shrapnel to the right arm from an improvised explosive devise blast. Despite his wounds, Busch returned to full duty the following after being injured.
