CAMP HURRICANE POINT Ar Ramadi, Iraq (May 23, 2005) - Second Lieutenant Adam W. Burch, platoon commander of 5th Platoon, Company W, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, raises his right hand and takes his oath of office during a ceremony here. The 28-year-old from Saratoga, N.Y., was promoted to the rank of first lieutenant along with three other Marine officers with 1st Battalion, 5th Marines.
