Brig. Gen. Ghulam Farooq Parwani, the deputy commanding general of the Afghan Army’s 215th Corps, speaks during a dinner for coalition leaders at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, Sept. 28. Farooq spoke of hope and thanks for the efforts of their Marine and British allies, and the work they have done to stabilize the region.
