The oldest Marine present, Cpl. Truman Goodwin and the youngest Marine, Sgt. Christine Bloomfield, adjutant clerk for U.S. Marine Corps Forces Europe accept a piece of cake from Col. Adam J. Copp, chief of staff for U.S. Marine Corps Forces Europe. Cpl. Goodwin served in the Marine Corps from January 1955 to January 1961. U.S. Marine Corps Forces Europe Marines travelled from Stuttgart to celebrate the Marine Corps Birthday with wounded Marines and Marines serving at the Marine Corps Liaison Det.
