IQUIQUE, Chile - Staff Sgt. James Palmer, regimental radio chief for 24th Marine Regiment of Kansas City, Mo.; Staff Sgt. David Luna, force protection chief for Special Purpose Marine Air- Ground Task Force 24; and Sgt. Daniel Garcia, a radio operator with 24th Marine Regiment; enter the Sargento Aldea Fire Co. carrying parts to an amplified sound system. Marines of SPMAGTF 24 teamed up with Chilean Marines of DIM Lynch to present the system to the firehouse. SPMAGTF 24 is currently supporting Partnership of the Americas 2007, an annual exercise that enhances regional security and cooperation among nations of the Western Hemisphere.
