Brig. Gen. Melvin G. Spiese, commanding general of Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., and Maj. Gen. Robert B. Neller, commanding general of 3rd Marine Division, meets with Lt. Col. Anthony Terlizzi, Embedded Trainer Team 4-3 officer-in-charge, Feb. 9, 2008, aboard U.S. army training grounds in Hawthorne, Nev. Spiese and Neller paid a visit to Marines with trainer teams executing a 21-day long pre-deployment training evolution dubbed Mountain Viper. ETTs serving in 3rd Marine Division are preparing for an upcoming deployment to Afghanistan where they will be tasked with mentoring, training and advising the Afghan National Army to become a self-efficient force.
