Brig. Gen. Melvin G. Spiese, commanding general of Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., observes a debrief conducted by Advisor Training Group instructors after a training scenario Feb. 9, 2008, in Hawthorne, Nev. Embedded Trainer Teams based out of Okinawa, Japan, and Hawaii are training for an upcoming deployment to Afghanistan where they?ll be tasked with mentoring, training and advising the Afghan National Army to become a self-efficient military force.
