Retired Col. Bill Conti, a former H-46 helicopter pilot, speaks about the service of the H-46 model during a send-off ceremony on Cherry Point Nov. 9. Fleet Readiness Center East will no longer refurbish or repair H-46 model helicopters for the Department of Defense. The MV-22B Osprey is replacing the helicopter throughout the Marine Corps.
