Melvin Sisk, a defensive back for 29 Palms' Marine Logistics Group football team, attempts to tackle Thaddaeus Haney, a running back for Camp Pendleton’s MLG football team, during the 2012 Best of the West Championship Football Game. Bragging rights went to Pendleton's team, known as 'the Beast', after defeating 29 Palms by a score of 28 - 0 here Dec. 8. With the win, the Beast claimed the Western Division All-Star Football Title for the third time in four years.
