During an early morning visit to the 14 Area Chow Hall here, Sgt Maj. Micheal P. Barrett, the 17th, and current Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, eats breakfast and converses with Lance Cpl. Amanda Cattin, a field radio operator with 1st Marine Logistics Group, and other junior Marines Jan. 9. Barrett toured facilities on Camp Pendleton and held a class for non-commissioned officers, sharing his knowledge and experiences with them.
