Four 105mm Howitzers fire in rhythmic succession during a ceremonial 21-gun salute held at the Marine Corps Installations-West Command building here on Memorial Day May 27. Kilo Battery, 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment operated the guns and performed the ceremony below the national ensign flown at half-mast in remembrance of service members that have paid the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
