Sgt. Jeison Mendoza, Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Africa mortarman from Palmira, Colombia, verifies his information with John Lafferty, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services district director, in the cockpit of a KC-130J Super Hercules in Tripoli, Libya, June 4, 2013. Mendoza took the oath of allegiance and became a U.S. citizen while deployed with Special-Purpose MAGTF Africa and is currently in Libya providing additional security to U.S. Embassy Tripoli.
