Capt. Michael Lee, from the 375th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., was awarded the Bronze Star Medal from Col. Gary Goldstone, 375th Airlift Wing commander, Aug. 11. Captain Lee also received the Combat Action Medal for his service during his one-year deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He was the convoy leader for 125 convoys, covering 7,500 miles, which sustained numerous major attacks. (Courtesy photo)
