In 1968, Snoopy was discovered in the back of truck by then Corporal Thomas Wolf. Snoopy traveled with Wolf during his 27-year military career spanning the Marine Corps, Army Reserve, Navy Reserve and finally Air Force Reserve. Sergeant Wolf retired from the 916th Air Refueling Wing in May 2001 and left Snoopy to carry on his military career with his son, Karl Wolf, in the 916th Security Forces Squadron.
