A Marine with Bridge Company, 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group guide provides security on a MK III Bridge Erection Boat while a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle crosses a continuous span of 43 Improvised Ribbon Bridges during a training exercise at Engineer Point aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., July 30, 2013. Approximately 44 soldiers with 502nd Multi Role Bridge Company, based at Fort Knox, Ky., worked with Marines to build a continuous span piece-by-piece using MK III BEBs.
