U.S. Marines at Villamor Air Base assist a medical team from the Japan Self-Defense Force onto an MV-22B Osprey headed to Tacloban Air Base, an area severely damaged by Typhoon Haiyan, during Operation Damayan, Nov. 14. The U.S. and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) have delivered more than 107,00 pounds of relief supplies, 140 relief and aid workers and more than 160 displaced personnel. Approximately 300 personnel from 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade have deployed in support of the efforts being orchestrated by the Government of the Philippines.
